Thank you for downloading the Universal Soldier soundtrack! I don't think much needs to be said about the quality of Code Monkeys's port of Turrican II...I almost cried at the poor quality of the audio when I was ripping these! Still, Chris Huelsbeck's fantastic tunes can still be heard, though you might think your younger brother or someone just learning how to use a midi composer had made these tracks; the synths are just plain awful, even for the Genesis! However, once you get the game up and running it isn't THAT bad... Please note that tracks 31-41 are all variations of the same song (and not a very good one, I might add!). I have tried to get the original names for these tracks down where possible, but I'm not familiar with all the songs from Turrican II so some of the untitled tracks may be from that game (or any of the other Amiga Turricans). Other tracks sound to me like original compositions made for Universal Soldier (usually the reall bad ones). Anyway, hope you find at least some of the tracks worth listening to, or at least satisfaction for helping complete your Turrican music collection :P Original Composer: Chris Huelsbeck Mixed by: Code Monkeys Ripped by: CapCom Recorded at 48khz direct from US Universal Soldier using Model 1 Genesis headphones-out jack and CoolEdit Pro High-quality encoding with LAME VBR -alt preset standard 1992/2005 Enjoy!
